1. Pitching & Booking
We operate a relaxed, first-come, first-served wild camping system. Campers are welcome to submit an online enquiry, call us directly, or simply roll up on the day and find a comfortable spot.
Since our spacious fields rarely reach full capacity, advance reservations are not strictly required. Whether you coordinate in advance or turn up spontaneously, you can simply settle your fees in cash during our daily rounds or online at your convenience.
2. Pricing & Settlement
Pitch rates are £6.50 per person, per night. We operate on a first-come, first-served wild camping basis. You can pay cash during our morning or evening rounds, or settle up online via PayPal, credit/debit card, or BACS bank transfer using our secure Virtual Honesty Box.
3. Cancellations & Weather Interruptions
As we operate an authentic, off-grid coastal campsite exposed to Atlantic weather patterns, safety dictates our policies:
- Cancellations requested 7 days or more before arrival receive a full refund.
- Cancellations under 7 days before arrival are eligible for date shifts within the current season, subject to availability.
- If severe gales or amber/red weather warnings force campsite closure, we will offer alternative dates or refund your balance in full.
4. Client Responsibility & Farm Safety
Staying on a rustic, working farm near steep coastal cliffs carries inherent environmental exposures. Campers accept responsibility for choosing pitch locations carefully, looking out for uneven ground, and supervising children or pets near working areas or public coastlines. Sunset Campsite cannot accept liability for vehicle damage, personal property loss, or injuries resulting from wild camping activities or negligent interactions with livestock.
Adherence to Site Guidelines
All bookings are subject to adherence to our Campsite Rules. Management reserves the right to ask campers to vacate the premises without a refund if behavior persistently threatens the site's environment, local livestock, or adjacent guests' peace.
By paying the booking balance, you agree to protect the land by leaving your pitch exactly as you found it.
